自ら寄宿舎建設作業に従事している僧達　/ Monks building their own dormitory

現在のチベットでは十分仏教の勉強が出来ない為、インドにやって来る僧は多い。その為彼らの寄宿舎は大変混雑している。友愛会が里親を付けているセラ僧院の僧達のホームも手狭になり、大変困っている。昨年会員さんから新しいホームの為に寄付を頂いたが、インド政府から建設の許可が仲々下りず、工事は大変遅れた。そしてやっと今年の春工事が始まった。コストをなるべく抑える為、若い僧侶たちは自らの手で新しい寄宿舎を造り、技術的な仕事だけをプロのインド人に任せている。
ホームの一階は2002年のチベットのお正月　{ロサル}の前に出来上がった。
寄宿舎は二階建てになる予定だが、現在資金不足の為、一階部分しか着工出来ないが、十分な資金が集まれば、いつでも二階部分を付け足せる。

基礎工事前の儀式　/ Ceremony before starting with the constructionworks

For a monk inside Tibet it`s impossible at present to study up to the geshe degree,therefore every year more and more monks are leaving their homecountry to pursue their studies in the various Tibetan monasteries in India. Because of the influx of new monks from Tibet,the dormitories in the monasteries are becoming overcrowded,which is also the case with the monks at Sera,which we are sponsoring. As they had a piece of land,a member of ours donated a part of the dormitory,other members gave some donations as well and the rest of the fundings was provided by the monks themselves.For keeping the constructionwork`s costs as low as possible,the younger monks are building their new dormitory with their own hands and are only leaving difficult parts of the work to professions.The bround floor has been comleted just before Losar 2002"Tibetan New Year". But still funds are being needed for the first floor.

友愛会会員のお一人が僧侶のための寄宿舎建設資金の一部を寄贈したが、ホームの二階の為に資金はまだまだ足りないので、彼らの寄宿舎建設の為に御寄付を受け付けております。振込用紙に"寄宿舎の為"と書いて頂ければ、そのように取り扱わせて頂きます。
