2004年に校舎を寄贈したネェス小学校の寄宿舎建設工事が6月から始まった11月に完成した/Constructionworks for a dormitory for Nesu Primary school in Chattring Prefecture |

| 左側の部分「寄宿舎」は現在建設中。このプロジェクトは11月に完成した。The left building (dormitory) has been completed in November 2004. |

右側の建物は左の寄宿舎が完成するまでに小学校と寄宿舎として使われていったが、左の建物が出来上がった後全部寄宿舎になった。一階は約210名の子供たちの為の食堂になり、寄宿舎で泊まる子供達は134名。 The right building has been used as school and dormitory before the completetion of the left building. Since November 2004 both buildings became dormitories. The ground floor has a diningroom for 210 children. 134 children live at the dormitory.

現地政府はあまりに辺境の地にあるために質の良い教師を集めることの出来ない小学校を２校廃校にしました。その小学校に通っていた子供たちは2007年9月からネース小学校で勉強するよう命じたので、当会が寄贈した2棟の寄宿舎が大変混雑することになり、もう1棟のシャワー付き寄宿舎が必要になりました。現在のレートで350万円が必要です。どうぞご協力をお願い致します。We had alredy donated two dormitories to Nesu primaryschool, had to close because no suitable teachers want to work in such a remote area, the children will have to enter Nesu school from 2007 on. Because of this, the dormitories we donated will again be overcrowded and therefore a third dormitory with showering facilities will be needed. 3.500.000 yen are needed to complete this project, and contributions are welcome.

2005年までには食堂がなかった為、小学生たちは給食を外で食べている。/Having lunch on the schoolground as there was not enough space for a lunchroom until 2005.

2005年から子供たちは寄宿舎内で食事を食べられるようになった。しかし椅子とテープルが無い為、コンクリートの床の上に座らなければならない。

〜寄宿舎〜
2002年に寄贈したネェス小学校は田舎から小学生が予想以上に入学して来たため、定員を遥かにオーバーし、苦肉の策として校舎の半分を寄宿舎として利用し、食堂を教室として代用したがそれでも子供たちは入りきれないほどである。2004年11月までには1つの部屋に5台ある二段ベットに20名が一緒に寝ているが、寄宿舎が出来上がってからは、1つの部屋に定員通り10人の子供たちが5台の二段ベットに寝られるようになる。
〜dormitory〜
As more children entered Nasu Primary School, the school became overcrowded and four children had to sleep in a single bunk bed. When a new dormitory is completed, there will be five bunk beds per room, for ten children.
2004年の9月から小学生の数は210名に上がり、地元政府はネェス村と周りの村に住んでいる子供たちが通っている古いネェス小学校の屋根と壁を修繕し、地元の小学生と遠くから来た小学生は古い教室で一緒に勉強させ、寮には134人名の子供が泊まれない為、当会が寄贈した小学校を寄宿舎に変える予定だ。そうすれば遠くから来ている子供たちは皆ストレスなく泊まることが出来る。
地元の子供たちも給食があるので、当会が寄贈した両方の建物の一階部分を2004年11月から食堂にした。チベットでは子供の数が増えているわけではないが、学校に通う子供が増加傾向にあり、2004年の9月からは皆9年間学校に行かなければならないことになった為、小学生や中学生の数がますます増えていく。
As of September 2004, it will become obligatory for Chattring Prefecture children and the 210 students attending Nesu Primary School to complete nine years of education. To meet those goals, the authorities have started repairing the roof, and paint the walls and classrooms of the old Primary school building which was originally meant for children from Nasu village, and the children of surrounding villages.? The new school building we donated was converted into a dormitory in November 2004. Having these two dormitories will be sufficient for about 134 children, and the rest of the children will return to their own homes in Nesu and surrounding villages.
